Worth, Texas, May 17. The F-35C has larger wing surfaces and reinforced landing gear for the demanding carrier environment. The F-35C variant is a fifth generation, low observable stealth fighter aircraft for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps and is undergoing test and evaluation for eventual delivery to the fleet.
