Matt Taylor 

Matt Taylor, a graduate of USNTPS class 125, is an experienced F-35 and F/A-18 test pilot, and  has owned and flown this Howard DGA for over 20 years. In addition to his military operational and flight test experience, Matt has been an avid civilian pilot since soloing a glider at age 14. He has held an FAA Flight Instructor certificate since 1998 and has held an FAA Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanic certificate since 1994. Matt holds an Airline Transport Rating with over 400 hours in the Howard, 1600 civilian flight hours and over 1300 tail wheel hours. His total time including military and civilian flying is nearly 4000 hours.

As an experienced test pilot, military and civilian flight instructor and very experienced in the Howard, Matt is an ideal candidate to provide handling qualities demonstration flights to US Naval Test Pilot School short course students.  He will also provide required safety briefings and ground training.
